Ok smartass you got me. I thought you were having an "Iamverysmart" moment until I tried to investigate and parse what you said. Turns out I'm the moron. Well done.

The guy above you was obviously being disingenuous. I use 8gb thumb drives to organise my jobs and hobbies. All the work I need for Job A is on Drive A etc.

So there's got to be at least ten of us. Maybe even twenty!!

We live in a beautiful Corpocracy and you will fucking love it, god damn it!! Drink the Disney to distract and calm your weary mind. Consume more and you will feel alive again. Promise! Ignore the crimes of the corporations, without those you wouldn't have The New Thing you adore and you wouldn't be yearning for The Next Thing! You NEED The Next New Thing.

Its fucking sickening. I'm in my early 30s and it feels hopeless. Surely the masses can see the sheer manipulation and control that governments and corporations have over us. Why aren't more people irate that They are raping the Earth to line Their pockets, fucking Us over in the process?

Everyone has been polarised into an "Us vs Them" mindset. Keep us divided and channeling our collective rage at each other, lest we actually find power in our overwhelming numbers. It hurts.

Just found the community. Love the posts and I will try post a song every other day that Ive been jamming to.

I predominantly listen to Prog Metal, hopefully this comm digs it.

My favourite song off of Periphery IV: Hail Stan.

I rarely contribute and the few interactions Ive had on Lemmy have been leagues better than anything on Reddit (or most other social media).

I find most people are here because they want the connection, not to earn internet clout. That seems to push people towards discussion, instead of the white noise I see elsewhere.

Glad it turned out to be a meme and hardware related issue 🤘

Might be a dumb suggestion but have you tried taking a photo with another device of the issue? Borrow a phone or use a laptop webcam and see if you can get it to appear?

Fair point. Kinda makes me just as moronic doesn't it?

If he ever wants to explain his reasoning, I'm happy to hear it. Even if it's just to get an opposing perspective. FWIW, Ive never seen MLP and couldn't care less who watches it.

Wouldn't it be more logical to suggest that idolisation of a children's pony show is more of a front for a furry? Or is it because the show is created for children, if an adult likes it they're a pedophile?

I always assumed MLP fans were closer to furries. The show is about horses, not kids?

My favourite Aussie idiom is "We're not here to fuck spiders." Meaning that we are trying to do some work, stop fucking around.

The point is: it only takes one. One nuke successfully launching would be enough for the majority (if not all) the able nuclear powers to retaliate in kind.

Do you think any nation within Europe would detect a missle launch and simply... hope it's a dud? What about America? If any nation responds to a nuclear attack (even a fake one), the odds are the rest of them will follow suit.

I hope every single attempted nuclear weapon launch fails. But the odds of that happening aren't even worth thinking about.

That sentiment boils down to "If I don't like it, I'm not watching it".

I think that's a great idea!
