Danish millitary officers are every bit as imperialist as the rest of NATO, just a lot worse at their job. And the Danish Defense Academy is anti-imperialist sort in the same way that the F-35 is, i.e. it's too bad at the job of being a tool for imperialism to be of any actual threat.

We all hope that is the case, but Liberals keep coming up with new and exiciting ways to deny reality. See for instance also the Finnish campaign to paint themselves as the winners of the Winter War and the deliberate exclusion of anything regarding the Continuation war.

I've sort of come around on the Danish Defense Academy. They seem to be one of the single most effective anti-imperialist organizations in the country, which is a good thing considering that even the Red-Greens have bend the knee to NATO, and now opposition to NATO is basically only a position held by very old social democrats, non of whom seem to have noticed the party all but kicking them out.

Denmark is currently having a culture war moment with a Square within the city, which by popular demand was to be named "Palestine Square". Obviously the useless city government was against it for a while, with members of the county council going out and arguing that names for places in the city shouldn't be used to make political statements.

The problem is more for the rest of the world that the United States never stopped holding it hostage. So while the empire is behaving like a lunatic and destroying everything, the design of the empire also isolates it from the worst of their own behaviour and ensures that it takes most of the world with it, should things actually turn ugly.

LMAO, the Danish center-right party "The Moderates" has officially begun purging their employees. Wonderful shit coming out of Denmark and our deeply serious Scandinavian Democracy^tm^. As has been described by SoyViking, the party is more or less just a cult of personality around our current foreign minister and former prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, who is famous for trying to turn his previous party into a slush fund for his personal expenses.

Rasmussen is also famous for appointing the queen of the far right Inger Støjberg to the post as Minister for Foreigners and Integration, which the danes on here rightfully refer to as the Racism Ministry, which put her in charge of our refugee policy, culminating in first Denmarks "Jewelry Law" which let the state confiscate jewelry from brown people who sought asylum here (said law was waived when the Ukrainians came, because obviously the law doesn't actually apply to whites) and also the unconstitutional family separation policy, which ended up getting her impeached and kicked out of parliament back in 2023.

True to my word, I have refrained from posting on this site for the duration of my paternity leave, as I refuse to post here unless I can count it as work. Anyway, kid is doing great, but it does take a toll to be alone with him for n entire day while he is learning to walk.
