I really like it too, it feels very fast compared to normal Firefox

Indeed, but I guess for most pricing might be an issue

Sometimes I feel also because it's just more pleasant to celebrate when the weather is nice.

A good example is Luxembourg which just decided to have it's national day in June because why not:

It is celebrated on 23 June, although this has never been the actual birthday of any ruler of Luxembourg.

19.0 and 19.1 mostly, 19.2 fixed the issues.

The web alternative interfaces Photon and Alexandrite allow it: https://lemmyapps.netlify.app/

Your instance might have those accessible directly (for instance LW has https://p.lemmy.world/)

You can do it from version 19.X, no? I just did it the other day.

Having to re-do all your subscriptions,

You can mitigate that by exporting your settings and keeping them as a backup. That's one of the nice features that 19.X brought

I read this article recently and I was just thinking about my news consumption and how much I want to be affected by it.

I feel like it is important because shit is going on in the world however I usually don't change my habits much over it.

I also think that there should be a middle ground somewhere but I can't think of it so if anyone of you have ideas please share them.

What talking with a friend who transitioned from marketing into cloud (AWS) and then into security, and he spends a lot of time studying to ensure he understands all the concepts required for technical discussions.

Curious to see what the community opinions are. Feel free to share your initial background as well.

Basically trying to see if I should wait for any exciting phone or get a Xiaomi 13T right now

I called a friend yesterday, it had been a while we hadn't talked. Very cool conversation, had a good laugh at some of the stories.

What about you?
