The side bar is currently being worked on and looking like it's close to completion.
The opening Lemmy links in browser is something we'd like to fix. I don't think anyone has gotten to it just yet though.

I tracked down a bad performance issue related to the comments list. I've submitted a fix so you should hopefully see a smoothess boost once that gets added into a release.
There is still some jank with threads that have lots of images. It can cause the comment list to teleport a bit. I think it has to do with the images loading back in but I'm not 100% sure. Needs more investigating.
I took this more as a light-hearted poke at a silly edge case. As someone who used to build static analysis software for various languages, including PHP. This gets a chuckle out of me as it takes me back to having to deal with these exact types of edge cases.
Thunder has been submitted to play store for review, so it should hopefully be out soon :)

I submitted a PR for this today. Might have to be iterated on but hoping I can address any issues with it to have it merged soon :)
It's definitely possible. Though we've been currently discussing some fundamental changes to the FABs, so not sure how that's going to play out yet.
