"It's a study I've done at the University of Canada. It says if you dick is under 4 inches then it's actually big. And if it's over 8 inches then it's actually small. So if you're an socially awkward loner with a 3 inch penis, then you're actually the smartest most fuckable guy on the planet and if women don't want to have sex with you then they should be in jail."

I wouldn't say that they're widely played but I think the demographics of Hexbear lean heavily towards the people who play them. Socially isolated young people who like anime. DDLC, while being a subversion of those tropes, was also a cultural phenomena.

As for romances, I would say a majority of the population has received vicarious fulfillment from that medium.

I need a link to this meme for reasons.

As much as I like dunking on these people, what they're doing isn't that much different than someone self-inserting in a romance story. These bots are more or less shittier dating sims which I can guarantee most people on Hexbear have enjoyed.

Lonely and isolated people have always used things like these to cope.

Can we agree that of the available options this is a deeply fucked way of dealing with alienation though? Drinking a twelve pack of Budweiser every night is another way of dealing with alienation

I think alcoholism is not the lesser evil in this case. At least Replika doesn't destroy your health as a feature.

When I read this, I thought you were implying that your dad is a literal dog who is the color blue.

He was adamant about "cruising" being an activity where you got a bunch of cars and drove around town.

I've never heard it in the context where it wasn't about gay sex.

This is I how you know haven't met me yet.

It's pretty common actually.

Most of it is within a few miles on slower roads though. No one supports drinking and then getting on the highway. But a lot more people wouldn't crucify you if you had 2-3 beers and drove the backroads home.

I did a double take when I heard my very conservative scoutmaster talk about how he and his friends enjoyed going "cruising" multiple times a week when he was younger.

Apparently, Gen X straights called driving around the town "cruising." For a second there, I thought my he was a gay legend in our town.

It's weird being competent at something.

I just had an idea in photoshop and it just worked after a little fiddling around. I can express myself artistically when I want to and turn ideas into actual creations.
