Heck yeah! Fuck Transphobia!
One subreddit did this IIRC
This whole situation reminds me of when pokemon go! came out and their servers just got mauled for 6 months straight I feel empathy for yall and couldn't imagine the stress yall are in with the influx of people.
Its difficult personally to believe its a myth due to my memory of the Twitter buyout where I recall the main struggle being that the CEOs of Twitter couldn't deny Elon purchasing Twitter due to the threat of lawsuit from their shareholders, and after announcing his plans to purchase Twitter for the inflated price Elon couldn't back out due to the same threat however I am open to the idea that I could of been misled on that situation.
As for the why of a myth like that circulating I doubt its due to malice and more due to misunderstanding as Ive always understood that any wording made on a legal case could be used as precedent. It could also fit well with people rationalizing why companies seek record profits while underpaying workers for their labor.
If anyone could clarify the Twitter situation without sucking off elon it would be appreciated
I swear Reddit is not only not learning from history but purposely trying to repeat it again thinking oh the previous guys were just too weak....
Reddit crashed, spez came out of hibernation, 5k subs are still down according to Reddark when initially there were only 2.5k that agreed to the blackout, we also hugged kbin and Lemmy to death 4 times to my count so its not too underwhelming although I get the sentiment though as these sort of things are a slow death particularly this one as moderators use old.reddit and third party apps the absence of moderators wont be felt immediately
This is extremely short-sighted on reddits part, elevating lower mods to leads can cause so much drama in a community particularly when the lower mods don't have experience, the lower mods will probably make basic mistakes that'll turn the average base away from the subreddit.
this is really going to bite reddit in the ass if they try it more its like trying to fix a leak by sticking random objects in the hole
The answer is living in constant fear of clearing my messages
I will continue to run into this brick wall until the brick wall is no more
Nahhhhh if I answer them ill forget I got them :p
Its fitting for Reddit to give multiple hugs of death as it ends brings back fond memories of crushed servers
Dont forget republicans whine about rent freezes too -_- its so annoying listening to them
