I can't imagine many people still come back to these posts after a few days have passed, but for posterity I wanted to make a note of this anyway.

Here's the specific comic, but frustratingly the site distributes it -- for fair bandwidth reasons -- at reduced quality. I wasn't able to figure out how to ask the site to serve the original, so the best quality I could find is from the original artist posting it on reddit here and here. It's a high-res, seemingly uncompressed file so it's probably the original quality.

Ime it's not only the quality/style of music but being compressed and transmitted over phone line (which is optimized for human voice) and also often being way too loud (sudden shock plus clipped dynamic range).

This changes nothing, he is bad and he should feel bad for it, although it is impressive that he can play the exact static and errors every 5 seconds, bit weird he interrupts mid way to tell me my call is import to him without answering.
