Do you:

  • make a small cup with it
  • blend it with something else
  • buy more of the same
  • curse that you didn't use it earlier for a larger last cup

This is the way.

Blend with another bean, though something close to the same roast level usually.

I blend with something else on hand and hope the pairing works.

Blend it with something else. I mostly drink home roasted single origin, so yeah definitely making “Atlhart’s Blend” with the last beans of every batch.

Always blend and sometimes curse.

Today I did both because I had to blend good coffee with pretty bad coffee that I only own because I was guilted into buying from a vendor at a festival that I had too many questions for.

Blending these beans and winging the rest. Last weeks collab between Wendelboe, La Cabra and Man vs Machine was tasty.

Throw a couple back alongside a bite of a dark chocolate bar. Poor man’s chocolate-covered espresso beans.

I find myself most often just blending it with something else

Man, that's a wordy article just to say to pour liquor into a glass.

Keep some beans around for your future espresso martinis

[–] ludw@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Now that's a great idea 😀

Yeah or just pour some over to a small jar you put behind your coffee liquor bottle and they can just chill in there. No need to keep those beans any fresh.

Blend it. Yeah it might result in an unpredictable result as I haven't tuned the grinder settings for it, but it's still good.

sometimes gets blended with lesser bean for cold brew, since the dregs beans are usually pretty stale

Blend it to make a milk drink.

Most often I blend it with another bean of similar roast level.

I also have a bean to cup that my SO uses, so left over beans get chucked into the hopper on that.
