Sisig is one of those dishes that could really benefit from a meatless option. I love the flavors but some of those cuts can be gnarly.

My wife used fried tofu in this case. The tofu brought the texture while the sauce and the other garnishings carried the flavor.

Doesn't have to be meatless if you just don't like the cuts used. You can replace it with ground beef or fried breaded pork chops.

Most Filipino restaurants will have it although it'll be pork-based not tofu.
