Oh shit, we were literally minutes away from banning all meat and forcing everyone to be vegan at gunpoint. Maybe we can convince the super-powerful vegan lobby to only end 95% of meat production, and issue special ration cards for people with dietary issues. This is definitely a really important concern that everyone needs to hear right now.

I'm a meat eater and this is stupid. No disabled people? Yeah I'm sure vegans are gonna kill everyone in a wheelchair and all the hearing impaired because like 1000 people at the absolute most i can imagine physically cannot be vegan. I find it dramatically more likely some tiny amount of meat production, maybe just blood production or something idk, or perhaps ethical hunting would occur for this tiny tiny amount of people.

There's probably a million people who say this exact thing and out of that maybe ten of them have a legitimate medical problem that couldn't be solved by ordering a 9 dollar bottle of supplements from amazon. They're just pathological narcissists who want an excuse to continue reproducing their consumer identity in a way that's comfortable for them.

I really don't care if you eat meat, but trying to make your bad consumer habits into an issue of social justice is just narcissism and nothing more.

reminds me of the person who said they couldnt live without the electrolytes provided to them by slamming 3 gatoraids per day, and thats why they couldnt do some kinda boycott or whatever. even if that were true why wouldnt you just stay quiet about it

There's something so innocent and pure about someone needing more electrolytes in their diet and thinking "mmm gatorade" instead of googling "good sources of electrolytes"
