Usually season 2. At that point the writing team has their footing but isn't out of ideas and trying to drag it out. Most shows start going downhill in season 3/4.

Season 13 was cool, the writing team all did acid together before writing the season, some really introspective episodes.

Duck season

Fall – weather and things are just kind of winding down as you approach the Holidays.

Winter! Winter sports are awesome. Snow is beautiful. Long dark nights are cozy.

Also no mosquitoes and if you're cold, you can always put on warmer clothing, rather than in the summer, where you just have to suffer the heat.

[–] sbv@sh.itjust.works 3 points 5 months ago

Totally agree. I am not compatible with summer.

Autumn. Mild, dry, mildly dry. It's the perfect time to be alive.

Winter because I live in Brazil, which is a tropical and very humid country so the heat can get unbearable even here in the south where it's colder compared to the north.

There are a few cities that get cold enough to reach negative CΒΊ, but where I live it's mostly between 10ΒΊ-20ΒΊ during winter so I just need some extra coats and more blankets and I'm happy. During summer I can only take off so many layers before it becomes illegal.

Summer for the exact opposite reason. In winter it's -10 to -30ΒΊC and the sun doesn't come up for two months. Absolute bullshit. I don't even do winter sports.

It definitely has to be summer. Around that time I feel very social.

TNG Season 4

[–] Ziggurat@sh.itjust.works 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Summer

  • No need for rain-clothe, or warm clothe

  • Outdoor activities are possible without damaging the gear due to the humidity, and if you like water even outdoor swim became possible

  • Having sunlight up to 22 or even 23 is pretty great, you can have a late dinner outdoor, or get some beers in the parks with your friends. It's also safer to come back home, especially if you ride a bicycle or are a woman.

  • Many people are in holidays, so things are quieter

[–] Jolteon@lemmy.zip 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Where do you live where it's 22 to 23 in the summer and not 30-40+?

[–] Ziggurat@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 months ago

I am talking about having sunlight up to 22-23 in the evening, Unfortunately, I don't live anymore in a place with many days above 40. (Which to be fair are great as a kid when you spend the afternoon chilling near the river, but sucks when you're adult and stuck in an office)

[–] Today@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago

All of them as long as it's not too hot.

[–] MonkderDritte@feddit.de 2 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

The first, the second is usually worse in anime.

[–] ChonkyOwlbear@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago

Sports bra season, closely followed by yoga pants season.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Usually season 2 or 3, but depending on the weather, sometimes it's season 11. Or, if I'm feeling particularly salty, it's seasoning.

This is a weird question for me, I’m from the American southeast, I remember having fall when I was a young man and it was wonderful, but those years weren’t common, the seasons I knew were hot n humid and winter(which was often hotter and humider than it should’ve been). Now I’m in the PNW and I think summer is far and away my favorite, although fall is still superb

[–] klemptor@startrek.website 2 points 5 months ago

Spring, because everything is coming to life after the dreary gray winter. I can work in my garden, it's not humid or too hot, and the mosquitos aren't out yet.

[–] superduperpirate@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

Late fall - gets cool enough at night that I sleep really well, without being so cold throughout the day that my toes get cold.

[–] lengau@midwest.social 1 points 5 months ago

Probably the black sea, dad.

[–] HEXN3T@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 5 months ago

Chapter 5 Season 3 has been pretty great so far, truly one of the seasons of all time

[–] GammaGames@beehaw.org 1 points 5 months ago
[–] VinesNFluff@pawb.social 1 points 5 months ago

Winter but I live in Brazil, so winter just means it's not a temperature that euros would call deadly like it normally is

[–] Alice@beehaw.org 1 points 5 months ago

I have a love/hate relationship with summer. Climate change has made it so I don't even want to go outside... but they schedule all the fun things in the summer! Local concerts! Farmers market! Outdoor movies! Craft festivals! Carnivals! I love all those things, I just hate sweating!

So summer is probably my least favorite, but also my favorite.

[–] nicgentile@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Summer. All year if possible.

[–] dnu@lemmy.sdf.org 3 points 5 months ago

Well do I have news for you

[–] Hextubewontallowme@lemmy.ml 0 points 5 months ago

Either go summer or winter
