How was this movie? I couldn't handle the last one, not because of Shia LaBouf, or the monkeys, but because Indiana Jones was standing around in pants three sizes too big for him and it was ridiculous.

2024 discussion threads
I hated Crystal Skull. I didn't watch this one in theaters and saw it on streaming with absolutely 0 expectations after the last one. I thought it was pretty good. The ending jumps the shark a bit, but it was OK. I was significantly less disappointed than the last one.
I remembered Crystal Skull as being not good. Then I watched Dial Destiny... Now Crystal Skull doesn't seem so bad in retrospect.
I mean this in the most harshest way, it was serviceable mediocrity.
It makes me mad to look back on it, sure nothing egregious, fun characters but just flat and nothing overall.
They should have recast 20 years ago. Or better yet create new fun franchises that arent pidgeonholed into monotony.
