1810 - The Catacombs were established

The Paris Catacombs were built to burry people due to lack of space of cemeteries, they took the remains of the dead and moved them into the new catacombs.

you can easily get lost without a flashlight, it is easy to lose your path due to huge passages and endless possibilities:

Here's the map of the catacombs.

Paris Catacombs Lost Man Footage In the footage, an unknown man can be seen running in the catacombs, clearly he is stressed and not sure of his whereabouts, suddenly he begins to run away and drops his camera (you can listen to his footsteps when he drops the camera).

It is not sure why he dropped the camera and what kind of entity he encountered at that time that made him run away in stress. Obviously this place is hunted, many remains of the dead are spread around the catacombs.

(This is not the guy, just a picture to explain how it looks)

The person was not found but the camera was found and later the footage was shared and spread to show awareness that getting lost in the Catacombs is not a fun game.

Imagine what happens if you lose your flashlight battery inside the Catacombs... Yeah pretty scary, you can enter the Catacombs yourself as the entrance is open for the public.

Just be aware that you're probably not going to be alone inside the catacombs and you can easily get lost.
