Idk if Iโm a tankie. I know a lot of the stuff we heard about USSR was lies in the form of propaganda, so I assume a lot of what we hear about China and North Korea is the same.

The word has effectively lost all meaning starting with neolib youtubers posing as leftists ( think Vaush etc). I'm an anarchist and got called a tankie for debunking propaganda against 20th century socialist projects. I have my critiques of the communist projects and leaders of the 20th century but apparently if I don't buy CIA propaganda that makes me a tankie.
Before Vaush and after the uprising, it referred to larpers who think that the revolution could just happen tomorrow, and seemed a bit too eager to do violence.
