Accuracy in media, in theory: "Both the extreme left and extreme right represent equal and oppositely biased perspective on the same facts, so they will naturally cancel out if you stay between them."

That theory, applied: "We must abolish the class system in order to prevent the frogs from turning gay."

[–] Tachanka@hexbear.net 17 points 5 months ago (1 children)

three radical centrists arguing:

"We must uphold the class system in order to turn the frogs gay"

"no, we must abolish the class system in order to prevent the frogs from turning gay"

"compromise? we must abolish only half the classes, and turn half the frogs gay."

Lmao TYT isn't even ranked on this anymore

Edit: nvm this one's podcast specific

[–] HarryLime@hexbear.net 19 points 5 months ago

LOL Pod Save The World is just as factual as Briahna Joy Gray's podcast

[–] Llituro@hexbear.net 19 points 5 months ago (1 children)

claiming that bad faith is more reliable than citations needed is basically the terriology of making dumbass politics graphs

[–] homhom9000@hexbear.net 13 points 5 months ago

If you think politics is just entertainment, as liberals do, you'll think bad faith is facts and citations needed is propaganda.

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 18 points 5 months ago (2 children)

Wait, Stephen A Smith is on the chart?blocky-wat

[–] TankieTanuki@hexbear.net 11 points 5 months ago (2 children)

I've never heard of him before.

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 19 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

As bbnh69420 said, he's mainly about basketball and sports in general. Whatever politics I've heard from him over the years runs closer to mainstream Dem. How they think he's anywhere close to being as leftist as Citations Needed is perplexing. Says a lot about whoever made this chart lol.

[–] bbnh69420@hexbear.net 13 points 5 months ago

His primary realm is basketball

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 10 points 5 months ago (1 children)

He shit on Biden this year, so that's probably why (he's a lib though)

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 9 points 5 months ago

Ok, makes sense. At least I can see how that'd make sense to whoever made this lol.

[–] Thordros@hexbear.net 14 points 5 months ago

Not gonna look at it. Is the Best, Most Rational, Most Factual and Truthful and Most Centrist Podcast PBS or NPR? I bet it's one of the two!

[–] dannoffs@hexbear.net 14 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Now I need Adam Johnson's opinion on if Mewtwo could beat Lebron in a 1v1

[–] NPa@hexbear.net 4 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Pokémon battle or game of pick-up?

[–] dannoffs@hexbear.net 2 points 5 months ago
[–] Deadend@hexbear.net 13 points 5 months ago

This is so funny.

[–] M68040@hexbear.net 12 points 5 months ago

This chart is still a thing?

[–] JamesConeZone@hexbear.net 11 points 5 months ago

Stephen a Smith is a Republican lmao

[–] chickentendrils@hexbear.net 10 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Do their other charts attempt to measure audience/impact at all or nah?

I've only even heard of like 5 others lol (RevLeft,JRE,Pod Save,Bad Faith, and Guerilla History which I don't see but someone else seems to)

And maybe space the chart out better?? Everyone has to zoom anyway to figure out wtf is going on

Publish a separate version for overhead projectors if they're so inclined
