We should definitely trust the CIA-controlled corporate press (Operation Mockingbird) when it describes Russia as fascist, even though the CIA (and its predecessor, the OSS) has been rescuing and funding Nazis around the world since at least 1945. I mean, it’s not as though the corporate press lied relentlessly about Iraq’s WMDs, with zero consequences for any of those involved? Trusting people who have repeatedly lied to my face is totally normal!
