Upvote this comment if you like weight on your body

It depends! Pressure can feel comforting to me depending on the context; I love when my cat is laying on me, or cuddling up with my partner. But when it comes to sleeping, I don't really like pressure on me, just feels too restrictive.

Yes. We have a waited blanket. I love it, but it caused my partner joint pain. We compromise with the heaviest comforter we can find in the winter.

In the summer, I'll sometimes stack a few pillows on myself (we have a bunch) to get some weight on me, while still allowing some airflow.

It’s actually much more comfortable for two people in one bed to have separate blankets. :) might be worth trying two twin blankets. Then your partner could have what they prefer and you could have weighted.

My wife and I started sleeping with separate blankets a while ago. I like to sleep with 2 heavy comforters even in the summer but my wife gets hot while she sleeps. A lot of the times we end up sharing a single blanket by morning but I don't think I could fall asleep like that.

Also I just realized while typing this that I do like weight on my body!

You can link a regular poll if you prefer one of those.

Personally, I like the coziness, but not so much the heat/restrictiveness. So more the idea of the blanket than the actual blanket.

I can't sleep without my weighted blanket. Even in summer. We just compensate by having a large fan blowing directly onto the bed for me.

I have a problem sleeping without something heavier on me. Which sucks in the summer. I’ve wished forever to be able to sleep with at the least a sheet, but it’s not enough.

I feel like mine has been bothering my back lately, might be a change in activity level though. I do find the weight comforting and think it helps me sleep deeper.

Depends on my level of stress. For high stress levels I like weighted blankets, for moderate stress levels I imagine a dog could be great (I'm not allowed to keep one in my flat), for low stress level a standard double blanket is nice.

I've tried a weighted blanket that my friend has for anxiety - and it was too much for me, I almost throughout the year just have the cover without the duvet itself, just so I have some kind of cover.

It doesn't also help that I sweat abnormally so I have to be careful to end up into a puddle in my sleep
