Of course. Mental Outlaw has a good video on setup and use. That said from what I've seen a majority of what I've seen it used for is torrenting.
I imagine there's a lot of people out there who are just tech loving privacy enthusiasts blogging though.
My guess is it's mostly populated by people already invested on privacy-related tech, like Tor. I couldn't get past my crappy ISP when I tried, might try again sometimes later.
Not yet but it's on my list of privacy stuff to try. Do you use it ?
I need to learn about it more because I don't think I have strong knowlege and I don't want to install something that I don't understand. Also would be great if someone will create community about i2p
