Don't often read about a mushroom that was considered edible until ~1940's. Sneaky assassin.
Yeah, that's pretty interesting. It's one of those mushrooms that in a pinch you could probably eat and it wouldn't kill you. Supposedly tastes okay, too.

That grass is so lush and green I was convinced it was a fluffy rug and that you'd picked the mushroom and brought it indoors
