I inherited like over 100 mac/Matco/ snap on sockets from my transmission building grandfather.

These sockets are in great shape however 95% of them are caked internally with like 50 years of grease, dirt, etc.

I’ve tried dawn, and krud cutter, and I’ve gone through like 7 tooth brushes and I’ve only cleaned maybe a dozen of them. Is there any other option? I know dawn says not to soak overnight but these things could probably use it.

I have all the wrenches soaking in evaporust right now and plan on throwing the few rusted sockets in there after. But I want to get this grease out and idk if Walmart has enough brushes for me to clean all these.
