Still getting used to the platform, and understand the concepts - obviously if this is just a bug related to the rapid growth, totally understand. Was just curious if I was missing something?

Yeah I noticed info discrepancies between what my instance can see on other instances and what they show in their own website. As an example when I search for a science community on lemmy.world I get Science@beehaw.org as the top result at 877 subscribers but when you go to beehaw.org/c/science they show 4.58k subscribers. There is obviously still some kinks to work out.

Good question. I'm on another instance. I can see some lemmy.world communities, but not others. I hope things will sort themselves out in a few days.
