But have you considered;

Bin Laden's family is extremely rich?

[–] axont@hexbear.net 29 points 7 months ago

Also they have a bunch of property, money, and influence within Saudi Arabia. If there's anything America does it's avoid pissing off Saudi Arabia

Although that might start deteriorating soon with the KSA growing closer diplomatically to Russia

Bin Laden is part of the Saudi aristocracy, I'm sure his kids still benefit from that.

The US doesn't do this, yet.

I have long thought that the "North Korea kills three generations of your family" talk was projection. It is what the capitalist authoritarians can imagine themselves doing if they ever have to put the boot down as hard as possible.

Pay attention to their false accusations because they are talking about things they have thought of reasons for doing.

Everyone saying America doesn't do this needs to look up Abdulrahman al-Awlaqi

That's his sister, Abdulrahman was a 16 year old boy.

Their father was Anwar

Honestly, American imperialism is not just war machines killing people and I think we’re not doing ourselves favors by just sticking to talking about the military destruction aspect of US imperialism. If anything, the military is the least scary part of US imperialism in the 21st century.

Economic devastation, engineered famine, control of global capital flows are affecting hundreds of millions, if not billions of lives all the across the world right now. It is nearly impossible to out-compete the Americans on this front.

Just raising the Fed rate by a few % is enough to send dozens of African countries to the brink of default. That’s what’s so scary about the US imperialism, and this is just the monetary aspect of its imperialistic arms.

They don’t kill bin laden’s children, but they’ll kill family members of random civilians who don’t have a net worth of anything

Fri 11 Jul 2008 The Guardian A US air strike killed 47 civilians, including 39 women and children, as they were travelling to a wedding in Afghanistan, an official inquiry found today. The bride was among the dead.

The nine-member inquiry team appointed by the Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, to look into the wedding party incident found only civilians had been killed in the attack.

"We found that 47 civilians, mostly women and children, were killed in the air strikes and another nine were wounded," said Shinwari, who is also the deputy speaker of Afghanistan's senate.

"They were all civilians and had no links with the Taliban or al-Qaida."

Around 10 people were missing and believed to be still under rubble, he said. The inquiry team were shown the bloodied clothes of women and children in a visit to the scene.

The Red Cross said 250 people had been killed or wounded in five days of military action and militant attacks in the past week.

I would give this shit tweet take a 1/10 and only 1 point because I guess I'm generous enough to think maybe they want to dunk on the Zionists but they're realy realy fucking stupid.

Liky holy shit you need to be either a gen alpha baby on their iPhone just learning about the world today(or 6 months ago) or an absolute vile ghoul that was making excuses for Obama or even Bush 15 years ago.

no such scruples for the family of al-Awlaki, lets not pretend that the US is any better

I bring up these people by name as often as I possibly can in conversations with liberals. One killed by Obama, his little sister killed by Trump, both innocent children. I haven't found a more concise indictment of America in its entirety than this.

Sharks rarely kill people

[–] booty@hexbear.net 1 points 7 months ago

The only reason a shark is going to attack you is if it mistakes you for another kind of animal. Which is probably less likely while swimming than while surfing or in a boat or whatever
