Bottom where everything else should be as well for any other apps since it’s much easier to use, since like everyone has said phones are getting huge these days.
Firefox
A place to discuss the news and latest developments on the open-source browser Firefox
Bottom, better for one handed navigation.
Bottom. Today phones' screen size is a joke.
Still on the bottom. I got used to it very quickly and think it is way better
Switched it to the bottom only to find out it didn't matter one bit and was still just as hard to reach there as it was at the top. Moved it back to the top because that's where my brain looks for it.
Exactly this. Middle of the screen is not feasible, so at the top it stays. Creature of habit
I'm a top.
As phones get bigger, bottom gets better.
@someguy3 Top.
Hi, are you using Mastodon to reply here, my guy?
@SiyahGuraag I am :)
Great. Love to see Fediverse working as intended. I guessed because your comment has the username tagged of the person you're replying to.
@SiyahGuraag Same :) I'm honestly not sure how this ended up in my feed.
I think Lemmy's Communities are shown as User Accounts on Mastodon, which you can follow. I could be wrong, though, I did read something like that on here.
I tried the bottom and couldn't get used to it. It seems like it should be better but it really didn't work for me.
One of the first things I did, after setting the theme, is move toolbar to the bottom.
Bottom. This is one of the main reasons I use Firefox on Android
Bottom because that's where my fingers are.
Bottom of course, I don't have giant mutant fingers so I could still reach the top of the screen on modern phones. :'(
I DO have giant mutant hands, and I still have to reposition to reach the top of the screen with any accuracy.
I miss when phones were hand sized
You can prise my Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact from my cold dead hand
Top - it's hard to change habits.
@someguy3 Top. Tried it on the bottom, didn't like it, since I kept fat-fingering the OS navigation button bar, and I've gotten too accustomed to the top position. Also use Firefox on a Galaxy Tab, primarily in landscape mode as a mini-laptop with a keyboard and mouse, and top menu feels more natural.
Bottom, that's the initial reason I switched from Chrome when they removed the Duet flag.
Since I switched phones, I've kept it at the default - bottom. Not too hard to get used to, but makes much more sense
Keep it at the bottom, that's how the old Opera browser had it back when it was one of the first mobile browsers and it's always felt completely natural to me since.
Not sure why but I really like it on the top
After using the bottom bar for just a few minutes I don't want to ever go back to the top bar. Honestly, I can't comprehend how it isn't the standard for mobile browsers. It seems to make quite a lot of sense to put UI elements where they can be easily reached...
Bottom so it's always in reach, it reminds me of Windows Phone too
Top. Thinking about it, I feel a vague sense of dread anticipating the day Mozilla decides it should be the same for everyone and removes the option, as is their wont.
Bottom. It is frankly weird how long it took me to grow used to it, but it is the only position that makes sense.
I'm also liking the slow change from dialogs to bottom sheets
Bottom, I got used to having it down there from the Windows Phone days
Kept it on bottom so I know what browser I'm using
Bottom on the phone, top on tablet
Back at the top.
