Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! โœˆ๏ธ

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

I hear one of the Mount Pulag trails is beginner-friendly.

Yeah, Ambangeg Trail. Mostly paved pathways and enclosed by trees and foliage, so parang naglalakad ka lang sa aircon na room for 4+ hours.

The summiting gets a little tricky because it's open and narrow, literally bangin na nasa tabi mo. But just as long as you look straight and ignore it, you'll be fine. Lol.

Mt. Daguldol in San Juan, Batangas is a one I, beginner, have personally gone on. My first hike.

The views from the peak isn't that amazing when we went there, but the best part is our campsite on the seashore. Pagkatapos ng hike, diresto tampisaw sa tubig. It was organized by our class (PE class) so IDK of the details of the campsite nor the route we took.
