A new post with 1 deleted comment shows as "comment symbol 0 (-1 New)"

... which looks goofy.

But not in this /c, maybe there's some kind of /c setting that shows quantities of new comments?

Maybe I made and deleted the comment too soon after I created this post?

You have to first read that post first before you can get -1 new. As the site check for any new comment, the site will display negative number if the comment happens to be less than last time you read the post.

You suggest that they change the text from "-1 New" to "1 Deleted" ?

What if there was two new and one deleted, or 2 deleted and one new? It doesn’t need to be that granular. It’s just letting you know there has been a cha ge since last visit. Perhaps as it can be negative, changin to +1 comments, rather than +1 new makes sense. Then the negative number still makes sense.

Or anything the devs can do to make it not look goofy.
