What have we come to? Having to watch 6 hours of Diablo content for cosmetic drops? I'd already find it a chore to watch 30 minutes or so, I want to play a game, not watch somebody playing it for me.
Makes me want to go back to the days where you just went out to the store, bought the expansion for a game, installed it and went straight to playing. All in less than half the time it now takes to earn two cosmetics that are already present in the game files anyway.
Its a promotional thing, makes sense from a marketing/sales perspective. Just open a twitch tab, mute it, and leave it running in the background.
Nah, I'll pass. That will only strengthen their belief that we want this kind of FOMO crap. I prefer not having to jump through real-life hoops to unlock the entire game's contents.
Almost seems like they’d rather us watch the game than play it…
