✨NEW✨ Sister Kbin community: https://fedia.io/m/firefox ⭐ r/Firefox is protesting Reddit, and is DOWN, but you can join our sister Kbin community. ⭐ Official Matrix room for the r/firefox community on reddit. The latest news and developments on Firefox and Mozilla, a global non-profit that strives to promote openness, innovation and opportunity on the web.

Firefox has a link that goes to their sister kbin community, but you don't see it until you click chat with us. So I don't think lot of people knew /r/firefox has gotten set up on the fediverse.

So, can you subscribe to Kbin communities via Lemmy and vice versa? It doesn't seem so.

Try putting the full URL to the Kbin magazine in the Lemmy search box and it should work.

Hmm... it's empty when I try to access it from my instance https://discuss.tchncs.de/c/firefox@fedia.io

Yeah, it's one of the growing pains of the fediverse from different instances. Things don't start syncing up until the moment someone from your instance first joins. So you won't see old comments. Only new ones. I've taken to viewing communities that aren't on my instance from the direct link to see stuff that hasn't shown up on mine.

Ah, I see. You're right, the first two most recent posts just showed up.
