Not always. Sometimes they are just looking to unload them onto someone else:-P.

There's really no such thing as a purely ionic bond. Even Cesium and Fluorine form bonds that have a non-zero amount of covalent character to them. Just like there's no such thing as a naked proton in the liquid or solid phases.

More like every molecule has a somewhat communism bond.

PS: also don't forget to take your daily dosage of Vitamin C

Not toothbrushes, not electrons.

lol this guy has never shared a toothbrush with friends

Yep, only with enemies.

A solid bond can survive electron theft, as long as the victim stays positive.

It's always the same. They start dating and become completely different. Stop hanging out with their old friends and the like. They sometimes even change states.

I sent this to my scientist as meme sharing love language and he's gone on an enormous rant about how wrong it is. That's the last time I try and share anything ionic. (Although apparently sharing ions is fine etc etc blah blahrant)

Pls send rant

Two hydrogen atoms sitting at a bar. One of them suddenly panics out loud - "Hey! I just lost an electron!"
The anion next to him smiles at the hapless naked proton's misfortune. He the one that done took it. Negative asshole that he is.
