Sometimes I wish I was illiterate.

[–] EdibleFriend@lemmy.world 79 points 8 months ago (1 children)

I, on the other hand, just want to experience this now.

I had to get my septum surgically corrected and let me tell you that when the boogers/blood clots came out, it was exactly like OP described

It’s not as though I can stop you…

[–] KingJalopy@lemm.ee 11 points 8 months ago

Just snort cocaine. Less painful. In the short term anyway.

Except then you eat it and your mouth is numb for a bit and it helps the hangover

[–] TaTTe@lemmy.world 53 points 8 months ago (2 children)

It would have cost you nothing to not write this comment...

Disgusting...

Can someone punch me in the nose? I'm curious what this feels like now >u<

[–] at_an_angle@lemmy.one 10 points 8 months ago

I get mild sinus infections through the year and get about half a dozen or so smaller ones a month.

I don't know how else to describe it when one of those brain tickling bastards comes sliding out, but mine is the feeling of relief from a clear nose mixed with the tingling sensation when I'm about to nut. That feeling can make my day

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 26 points 8 months ago

Would we even be a proper link aggregator site without comments that belong in an encyclopedia of filth? This is just the foreword...

[–] randint@lemmy.frozeninferno.xyz 18 points 8 months ago

Been there. It does feel satisfying.

[–] wander1236@sh.itjust.works 17 points 8 months ago

I've had this happen. It's kind of terrifying honestly.

[–] FinishingDutch@lemmy.world 15 points 8 months ago (2 children)

I know that feeling. I once woke up and had a plugged left nostril. Stuck a pinky in it to explore and out came a giant, solidified blood slug about 4 inch long. Apparently I’d had a spontaneous nosebleed during the night.

[–] BarrelAgedBoredom@lemm.ee 5 points 8 months ago (1 children)

When I was ~14 years old I woke up one morning with a splitting headache. It was so bad that I didn't go to school that day. About two hours into my morning I got the sudden urge to blow my nose. What came out of my right nostril was an enormous booger roughly the size of my entire pinky, with small streaks of blood marking the outside. I'll never forget the feeling of expelling that monstrosity, it was pure bliss. I hope it happens to me again one day

[–] FinishingDutch@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

That sounds like a scary one; you’d almost be tempted to think you suddenly dislodged a brain tumor or things like that :D

Yep. Like a blood ribbon almost. I imagine the bleed started in the front of the nasal cavity and trickled quite a ways back when I was sleeping on my back.

I was quite surprised indeed when it came out. Even took a picture of it.

[–] merde@sh.itjust.works 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

i already regret asking but can you share the photo here?

[–] FinishingDutch@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Unfortunately I don’t have it anymore or I’d post it for sure :D I took it years ago on an ancient iPod Touch that now has a spicy pillow for a battery and is completely dead.

[–] Silentiea@lemm.ee 11 points 8 months ago (1 children)

These words... They cause me... Discomfort.

[–] ouRKaoS@lemmy.today 3 points 8 months ago

I threw up in my mouth a little reading that, but I bet it did feel satisfying.

Not gonna lie, this post made me have my nose picked with a rolled tissue just to see what comes out of it

[–] BurnedDonut@ani.social 8 points 8 months ago
