fill a spray bottle with 8⋮1 hydrogen peroxide and vinegar then add as much salt as you can get to dissove solution. spray mixture onto cybertruck for quick effect.

I don't remember my chemistry super well, but that sounds corrosive as hell! I think I've got a spare spray bottle around here somewhere...
God damn I was expecting a timelapse
--- parody
this is not parody i fully endorse the destruction of cybertrucks
I would also suggest mentos and diet coke for some quick whoopsiedoopsie damage
Behold! The F-35 of pick-up trucks.
Hey, the F-35’s problem is that it’s insanely overpriced and tries to be everything to everyone and thus fails.
The Cybertruck is not trying to be anything other than a truck that looks cool. It fails at that. It’s not even insanely overpriced for the luxury pickup truck world (which is honestly the dumbest market segment)
The point I was getting at was that just like the F35, you can't use it in a thunderstorm, or any rainy weather for that matter.
Watch these have optional upgrades like "paint" and "finished edges on doors" soon
Apparently paint corrodes the steel as well.
I would assume that depends on the type of paint you use.
For paint you need to use a brake fluid spray rather than the above mentioned peroxide, vinegar and salt solution.
Your cybertruck will be in perfect condition and never have an accident as long as you keep it in your garage forever
humidity enters the chat
Make sure you store your cybertruck in the Tesla-provided $100,000 Cybervacuum^TM^ Container
cybervacuum proceeds to implode because Mr. Musk cheaped out on material again.
I'm thinking of a post from yesterday on how these vehicles were not designed for the freezing temperatures of Chicago, only for California climates. I guess they weren't made for Florida either.
just don't leave california
didnt california just have a bunch of rain?
but hey, the car would work wonderfully on mars, which has basically no oxygen or water. the huge child flattening machine wont even be as heavy on mars as it is here.
musk is playing the long game.
garage with AC, obviously.
I love the cybertruck so much because of the inevitable damage it will do to Musk's reputation. Maybe my boss will stop trying to tell me to go read his book.
I'll read a book by musk the day he actually writes one.
Read my book
Hey uh, quick question, here in Florida there’s a lot of water in the air.
It would be entertaining to see one of these rusted hulks being driven back to a gated community in Orlando after a long day at the office. Half of it would probably fall off and become road debris.
Hell, I want to see one after a single east coast Canadian winter
Humidity, snow, and road salt will eat these things for breakfast
Imagine what one of these will look like after a winter in the Midwest or Northeast. Going to turn into a Flintstones mobile very quickly.
I love that this $100,000 "luxury" vehicle had about as much care put into it as a $15 K-Pop album
wasnt this one of the signature "features" of the delorean?
Iirc the delorean had issues with the frames rusting, not the stainless panels.
you're right. even a 40 year old cocaine car got the stainless skin right
The Cybertruck really is the perfect vehicle for the modern American truck enthusiast. Can't really tow, not a lot of bed space, huge and unwieldy, gets hung up on off-road obstacles, prone to lots of problems - but it looks good in your driveway and in the Starbucks drive through (as long as you keep it dry).
but it looks good in your driveway
owners
Owners? Serious question - what does that mean? The public can't buy the trucks because they aren't for sale. Did Elon set up some kind of test thing where the "owners" are just borrowing/renting/whatever from Tesla? If so - how many people are doing that?

Edit
I'm a broken record but holy mother of fuck is google shit. It lead me astray. Again. The following page is Tesla hype bullshit but at least it gave me a rough number. And I don't want to google more...
Since barely 500 Cybertrucks have been delivered...
I'll leave this here too. Haaahahhahha...
Cybertruck Corrosion (per Owner Manual) | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - News, Discussions, Community
The Cybertruck’s exterior is susceptible to corrosion, as acknowledged in the manual. Once the oxide barrier is compromised, corrosion initiates. The manual advises prompt removal of corrosive substances, emphasizing not to wait until the Cybertruck is scheduled for a full wash.
What fucking rubes.
No washing the car, nice
All those Austinites driving around in burnt-orange cars.
Somehow, it's still not on this list (it's probably because of Elon's yesmen army, isn't it?)

But it's bulletproof!
Meanwhile, aluminum...
Makes me wonder if they actually have a paper trail all the way back to the foundry that produced the 304 stainless steel that they claim they're using... or maybe there were some shortcuts taken.
