From left to right:

S2+ TI - XHP50.3 4000k - 4A convoy 6V

S2+ - 519a 2700k dedomed - 5A Convoy CC

S2 - Triple 219c 4000K (FW3A) - 5A Convoy CC

S8 - SFQ65 3000k - Dr. Jones H17Fx

Roche F12 - 519a 4500k - 5A Convoy CC

S2 - Osram CSLNM1 - 5A Convoy CC

S6 - 519a 3500k dedomed - 5A Convoy CC

The boost driver (S2+ TI) and Dr. Jones (S8) are staying where they are, but I plan to replace the constant current drivers with buck drivers. I'm also going to make the S6 a triple with the same 519a 3500K dedomed, swap the 219C Triple for a spare XPL HI from my other FW3A, and trade the Osram for an SFT40; all three of those will get 8A drivers, and the others 5A.

I know the Roche isn't really a Convoy. But I got it from Simon, and they're all just tubes after all.

That triple 219c could handle a lot more current (with more heat, of course). Have you considered a sense resistor swap in that 5A driver? You can dial it in pretty nicely.

I haven't on this light. It's kind of a parts bin light, with a spacer made out of a thin walled copper pex line plug, so I didn't want to throw too much current at it.

I did use your guide to attempt a sense resistor swap on another 5A driver when I was trying to use an SFS75 in the S8. But I only have a soldering iron and wasn't entirely successful. I ended up deciding I didn't like the SFS75 anyway and abandoned the idea.

Yeah, I hear you. I also struggle with resistor swaps with a regular soldering iron. It's a pain.

Cool lineup! Does the s6 tail stand will the lighted switch? S21a doesn’t but I know s6 has a different tail design.

And how long does a single driver swap usually take you?

It does tail stand, but the button sticks out just enough to make it wobbly.

Probably a half hour for the actual swap? I think the most I've done in a night is 3. I'm no professional but I'm getting faster.
