Ark Survival Evolved. 7k hours, love the game, wouldn’t recommend because Wildcard/Snail Games.

Same here, feel like half of the time I was debugging the game or rescuing peoples stuff from bugs. I know we all want sandbox dinosaur island but ark ain't it

I remember we needed a mod for the building system because the default one was genuinely broken, among other things.

Rainbow 6: Siege. In the last 2 days I got berated and called slurs for not playing how one of my teammates wanted me to in two separate matches, played against 2 different people using obvious aimbots/wallhacks, and got dunked on by people who had pixel-perfect knowledge of a map that I never get to play on because everyone bans it.

I still love the game to death but I really cannot stand some of the community. The recent commendation system has helped more positive people be more vocal in the game thankfully.

Life, it just keeps getting worse.

It's so stupid to vote it down after so many hours of entertainment lol. Just because it can't keep your attention forever

There's this thing called playing a game not for entertainment, there's games that are addictive and games that will have you spend hours just to get a little taste of goodness to keep you going.

I'm happy for you you haven't wanted to enjoy a game that is like this, and that you don't think about leaving criticism where it is due.

I've definitely played my share of games for thousands of hours including MMOs, But just because I'm tired of the game loop and it doesn't interest me anymore I'm not going to leave a bagy review.

I see you chose not to read what I said? Being tired of the game loop is almost never the reason of these "bagy" reviews.

As an ex-Eve player I could 100% see this being correct

Hadn't played in a long time, thought I'd pop in to see what had changed. Noped the fuck outta that game fast.

It's fun in the beginning, but starts to get very repetitive very fast.

Honestly, once I saw what the play loop was near the end of the tutorial, I nope-d right out of there. For perspective, I was grinding away at asteroid mining for two whole weeks before I stopped playing EvE. To me, that's how transparently "endless grind without any substance" the game came off.

[–] fsxylo@sh.itjust.works 1 points 10 months ago

Oh boy, can't wait to check out that new content... Oh patches made my build useless. Guess I'm grinding a new Warframe weapon combo on Helene. Then it's off to the marketplace to get the new mods I need, then I need to grind the currency to level those mods up, and then I burn out and uninstall again.
