Lavenderism is a reformed new religious movement and/or form of spirituality. It is based on philosophy, activism, self improvement and the worship (or veneration) of innumerable spirits and gods, though many are initially unimportant. It also includes magical practices that can benefit those who are able to wield them.

In modern times, you can go on Youtube and find so many tutorials on how to be masculine, how to be confident, how to act manly etc. However, these videos are fundamentally flawed in their concept, because they are not working on the basis of all masculinity which is testosterone. Testosterone is the basis of all those actions you consider masculine, for obvious reasons. However, modern societies have manipulated their ideas about how men should act to suit various economic and political needs. The illusion of independence (Despite relying still on a larger society) can punish those who cannot provide for themselves and reinforce the concept of social darwinism. Outside of primitive actions like hunting, reproducing, or fighting there is not very much that we are innately programmed to do that is not somehow conditioned or decided by society.

Masculine energy is compared as more logical and structured than feminine energy, but this seems to come from modern capitalism. Masculine energy manifests in this society as providing for yourself or for a family. Being grounded, analytical, focused, and passionate are good examples of masculine energy as well. It is also carnal and physical compared to feminine energy which is emotional and sentimental. Modern people view them as conflicting, but both are required to have a healthy balance regardless of gender expression or identity.

Another thing to remember as well is that at the end of the day, our gender is determined by genitals and hormones at birth, assuming you are not trans or non-binary. It boils down to sex and temperament towards your desired gender. As an extension of this, it also affects the role you play in your family once you have children. Masculine energy comes from this, and anything we add on to it is just a social construct. Additionally, trying to block people from accessing things that relate to arousal or trying to stop people from having sex or romance is blocking them from masculine and feminine energy since testosterone and other hormones are produced during sex and romance.
