Lavenderism is a reformed new religious movement and/or form of spirituality. It is based on philosophy, activism, self improvement and the worship (or veneration) of innumerable spirits and gods, though many are initially unimportant. It also includes magical practices that can benefit those who are able to wield them.

I did not intend to leave my body, but somehow I ended up in my living room without it. I looked out into the backyard, and I saw a bunch of bright colors that I could not see from my physical eyes, and flowers that have not grown yet. I also saw my cat, who reacted to me as if I was there physically. At first I thought I was in my house, but then I realized I forgot my body in my bedroom. I felt light, just like a consciousness floating around my house as I floated back to my room and went back into my body. It was awkward at first because I wondered if I would be able to get back inside, but eventually I felt myself returning. I was able to move my feet at first, but I was kind of paralyzed from the waist up since this was my first time projecting and I have no experience of doing so. I got up, and I felt as if I had gotten up too fast as I was rushing to get my cat some food since she was meowing for me and trying to wake me up by walking on the bed. I felt dizzy after that, but it wasn’t too bad I just had to walk a bit slower.

I get paranoid when I am outside of my body, because I get the impression that if I leave it behind it will get stolen. Maybe this comes from being materialistic or viewing my body as something I own (quite literally). I know it’s unlikely something would steal a physical body but it felt like leaving a gold bar in the car just like an open opportunity for thieves.

However, just the experience of astral projection helps anyone put their lives into perspective. Not identifying with your human opens up a lot of possible paths you have and lets you look at your skill sets from a higher perspective and allows you to break the illusions of the problems you have in the current lifetime. It also really helps to divorce your consciousness from your mind since always being so immersed in your mind can make it difficult to separate these. Especially for those who are neurodivergent and are always thinking, separation makes it more clear they are different. As you do this more and more, you can go farther and the transition back into your body becomes easier each time. Don’t do anything crazy in the beginning like going around the world or going to the spirit world, but you can build up your astral projection skills to eventually get to that point.
