what should I do outside anyway? stand around in a parking lot? in the vast sea of parking lots that is the united states of america?

[–] Zoift@hexbear.net 43 points 10 months ago (1 children)

You tear the asphalt up so grass can grow there, then you touch it.

[–] RNAi@hexbear.net 23 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

The grass might grow fucked up like the trees in Love Canal for a few centuries tho

I'm lucky in that the Appalachians are only like an hour away from where I live, plenty of grass there

when a hexbear tells me I should log off so I dust off my 4 volumes of Capital to expose them as a revisionist

Grass can't consent to being touched. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

Me logging out won't change anything. If EVERYONE logs out though maybe.

Recognizing systematic problems doesn't mean you can't give individuals personal advise on how to better themselves.

[–] Cherufe@hexbear.net 26 points 10 months ago

Actually I wont better myself until communism is fully achieved

[–] allthetimesivedied@hexbear.net 25 points 10 months ago

I’m already outside. I’m homeless.

Checkmate, Mr. Chapo.

Having a nice time at the park is a twelfth type of liberalism

We should go outside and touch grass collectively.

[–] Great_Leader_Is_Dead@hexbear.net 19 points 10 months ago (3 children)

This is called a music festival.

[–] cryptymythy@hexbear.net 16 points 10 months ago

They moved most of the music festivals in my city from an outdoor lot on dirt to a fully paved asphalt parking lot

We all need to sun our assholes a little.

Not as a treat, but as a way to survive.

Is it liberalism to feed hungry people? Because you can go outside and do that pretty much anywhere, anytime.

The dialectical union of opposites: knock through one wall of your house and form a party with your neighbour

[–] RNAi@hexbear.net 9 points 10 months ago

She's a troskyst, there are 3 parties in that house already

[–] odmroz@hexbear.net 10 points 10 months ago

A beautiful dialectic.

every time i buy a cool mecha model or figure from aliexpress i like to giggle maniacally about how i'm damaging the US economy and benefitting China. am i building communism? is-this

[–] HumanBehaviorByBjork@hexbear.net 8 points 10 months ago

free yourself from the blind mechanical process of history! become an anarchist!

[–] Satanic_Mills@hexbear.net 7 points 10 months ago

If only there was a school of thought that could resolve these sorts of contradictions. Alas-

[–] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 6 points 10 months ago

Learning calculus is good, actually.

Understanding some of Leibniz's main contributions confers an understanding of the chain of events that is behind every wave of phenomena.

[–] KatsInSpace@hexbear.net 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

we have this struggle session every like 2 months, please calm the fuck down. We're comrades, you don't have to treat people like this when you probably know shit all about whats actually going on with them

[–] RNAi@hexbear.net 11 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Sorry I meant the second phrase not as an insult but as "here's what you gotta do to build some sweet 0.00000001% communism in your area: go and join a union/ an org / etc"

And of course this is a shitpost

[–] axont@hexbear.net 6 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (1 children)

i never know what to do when I go outside. I go to a concert or something, wander around, go home. I think I'm supposed to have friends or drink alcohol.

[–] GalaxyBrain@hexbear.net 6 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Talk to people at concert. If you're at a shoe you're allowed to walk up to strangers and just introduce yourself and ask how people are doing, you'll make some friends eventually. Chit chat with smokers between bands, if it's a smaller show and you liked a band and see someone who played, just go tell them they played a good set, if they're on tour ask how that's been going. People are drinking and in the space between periods of loud music, its a very socially open state.

literally what i've been saying! How can you build communism without combining into a super-organism? don't bother answering because anything other than a "you can't" is liberalism
