Same, but I'm on NewPipe on mobile and uBlock Origin on Firefox on desktop. Haven't seen an ad on YouTube in years.

I keep seeing ads of AI generated Roger Federer being arrested. It's in German (VPN) so I have no idea what it's all about.

Get uBlock Origin and then YouTube will stop serving all ads. Or quit using YouTube entirely since Google is doing everything in their power to run the platform down the drain.
