In addition to Milktea, there is Kaiteki which is also available in the IzzyonDroid repo on F-droid:

https://kaiteki.app/get/

If anyone is interested they list other apps that work with Firefish/Calckey on the Firefish site:

That's unfortunate, I checked the GitHub and it seems to be a bug with the IzzyonDroid version of the app, the Github version appears to work:

https://github.com/Kaiteki-Fedi/Kaiteki/issues/375

Hope there will be a fix soon!

I know that Milktea works, but I prefer the webapp.

Oh, sorry, I assumed I got it from F-Droid but unfortunately I got it via Play Store. 😞

There was an Android app out there where you could basically subscribe to GitHub releases and install their APKs, but I just noticed that the last Milktea release is from 2021 anyways: https://github.com/pantasystem/Milktea

Don't know if GitHub releases are still in sync with Play Store releases though.

I know 2 apps

  1. Milktea
  2. Kaiteki

Milktea seemed to work for me when I tried it when Firefish was still called calckey.social. kaiteki app just gave me a blank screen, so can't comment on that.

Anyway, I just use the web app if I use firefish.
