Hereditary is the scariest movie I’ve seen to date still
Part of the reason its so scary is the soundtrack makes heavy use of binaural beats which can produce emotions like fear

It's a show stopper for sure. First time I watched it seriously fucked my head up. Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original, is up there too.
