Tab S9 is a pricy boi, what are they thinking?

With most Android tablet apps being literally the same as mobile, I see no reason to get s9 and not iPad pro which is a more polished experience. Hopefully s9 would be a better buy next year when they slash the price by 40%.

Yea for tablet, I will always suggest iPad. Much longer supports and more polished apps.

There's a lot of inertia to overcome here. There's advice online everywhere that Android may not the best platform for tablets. As someone who loved the Nexus 7, until you have a large user base that's using the tablets, it's a tougher sell to developers and to users especially that iPads are cheaper now than they have been in the past.

It's an uphill battle. Google has to pay those taxes for doing such a terrible job of getting into the tablet as its own related but different market from mobile.

But with google jumping into the tablet business, maybe it'll lead to more optimized tablet apps.

Disappointed on the lacklustre effort with the Fold 5.

I think Samsung has the form factor wrong here. For everyone that doesn't want a stylus, people are going to prefer the shorter/wider versions. It's enough of a deterrent for me that I'll probably go S23 Ultra instead.

Personally, I like the form factor because you can use the phone folded easily with one hand. It took some adjusting when I switched from the Fold4 to the S23U.
