@President_Pyrus @asklemmy huh I never saw it on lemmy.ml, I had to tag @asklemmy manually for it to show up ๐Ÿค”

Do you know the tragedy of the Streisand effect? I thought not it's not a story the jedi would tell you

@Atemu so so, I don't think favs and upvotes are aligned, CWs become nsfw warnings, haven't got to the bottom of why some posts go missing (maybe instance blocks) but generally the posts themselves seem to come through okay (e.g. tusky notifies me about comments here, shows threads)

[-] Atemu@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Did you just reply via Mastodon?

@Atemu hmm just tried to post a screenshot from tusky but doesn't look like images work

[-] tauroid@octodon.social 1 points 1 year ago

Neat! Did it automatically add my username in front of the message because that's how it works on Microblogging sites or did you do that manually?

[-] Subito@beehaw.org 1 points 1 year ago

Everything seems to be in order.

[-] iridaniotter@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 1 year ago

So how do you do this? Do you just @ the community in your toot and it posts here?

[-] tauroid@octodon.social 0 points 1 year ago

@iridaniotter yep pretty much! I think from seeing someone else's post in !test you can leave the @ out of the title by doing e.g.

Title

@blah@thing.blah

body

but it will still have the @ in the body

[-] iridaniotter@lemmygrad.ml 1 points 1 year ago

Thanks I will test this later.
