Remember: If you aren't fighting conservatism, you aren't fighting climate change.
If you aren't fighting capitalism, your fight against climate change is less effective.
Capitalism needs to be regulated, but conservatives will not allow that either.
So, if you aren't fighting conservatism, you aren't fighting capitalism.
Should be illegal to teach science in Texas? Oil and gas were created by God, it's His will that we burn it.

Alex Jones literally believes this. He says it's our duty to pump as much carbon in to the air as possible and that oil and "clean" coal are how we are supposed to do it.
I saw a video with a redneck looking guy next to a huge truck that said god put all of it for us and we have to use it all for jesus to come back.
There's some fundie sects that think it's our job to bring about Armageddon. The idea is that Jesus won't come back until the world is practically unlivable...you know, so he can swoop in and save the day at the last minute, or whatever.

It's a fight they already fought with the teaching of evolution. Now they're doing it again on behalf of multi-billion dollar oil companies, rather than the church.
