I really hate that I lost access to web SMS and visual voice mail when I switched away from Fi. I'm glad I made the switch; Fi isn't the bargain it originally was, and service was starting to be occasionally iffy, but the loss of GV and web SMS sucks balls. Even now, years later, I still miss it.

A bit more investment and effort but the UniFi talk line has a pretty good setup for small businesses.
I looked into this and didnโt find anything I liked that looked reputable. I ended up getting a cell phone plan with a voice only plan. I use it with my personal phone and a dual SIM. I ported the number, but it was a huge pain to port from a business centre VOIP.
Ooma seems to have a reasonable product. Better than GV, at least.
