Yeah happened to me as well. Got banned for openly criticizing Chinas form of government. Winnie Pooh doesn‘t like that.

It's a diversion tactic

Basically the person you replied to was attempting to divert attention away from the topic at hand because they have no defense for the actions described

In short: "Bad thing happened over there what about that huh? How can you criticize X over here if Y happened over there?"
