This is just going to be a never ending battle. They propose a backdoor, companies and privacy organizations oppose it, they drop it, they bring it up at a later date. They won’t stop until they can see everything you do.

On one hand this is great to set companies sticking up for encryption, but on the other hand, how long until these apps are just banned works wide and we are stick with sms?

Doss anyone in the UK even use iMessage? I heard that it was mostly used in the US.
