Certain models had really unreliable disc drives
Like for example, I have an SCPH-30001 that is infamous for its laser carraige going out of alignment. There were a lot of different drives designed for the thing so there's a lot that can go wrong
I don't know what I have, but it's bad to this day. Takes so many tries to get a game going.
That screen alone scared the shit out of as a kid, looked like something out of the Exorcist
Cds
Are you telling me I wasn't supposed to place them in a huge pile outside the case on bare wood?
CeeDeez bare wood lmao gottem
Scratched cds
Scratched CDeez nuts lmao gottem
Mine always just showed the Crystal Chips menu!
Or just not loading anything at all. I remember the older black discs that some PS2 games were on didn't load after a while 😢
No that was fine, it was you slathering your gooey sausage fingers all over them after raw dogging that ice cream with your face.
