If you have a cut, stay out of water and keep away from raw food.

OP, we don't appreciate being left hanging🙎

Stay out of salt brackish water and raw seafoods from those waters. Pools and raw meats and veggies are fine.

Specifically it says to avoid handling raw seafood if you have an open wound. It's not recommending that we all give up sushi or like, avoid lettuce.

I prefer my lettuce without any body part that isnt anything but the outer skin of a hand. I think if one does have any type of wound, they should still protect it and the food from any type of bacteria, flesh-eating or not.

And also, cross contamination is also a thing so let's all remember to put some order in our fridges if we do have raw carnie food, and prewash before preparing.

Personally, I wrap all my cuts in old lettuce.

Step 1: Remove all your flesh

And you're done
