I like the songs and its vibe/soul when listening Taylor Swift's early albums.

Whether those are country or pop or teen or love songs, I really (and still) get hooked by its melodies & sounds/instruments. Its really awesome lyrics and its story by her still amaze me.

So, her songs has really influenced my musical preference especially when growing up.

I'm still looking for new music/song/album or new/current other music artists with that kind such as hersβ€”

So if you could introduce to me to search, Are there any other "new" music or new/current artists with that kind such as hers (likely endorsed by her as I already consider her a great artist)?

It does not have to be so much similar to her songs. (So it can be grunge, ballad or urban) I'm referring to the "vibe/soul/sound/something I can't clearly describe sorry" upon the songs that she's singing/playing.

So to understand what I'm referring to, here are selected current songs I like and still keep playing are:

  1. "Until I Found You" by Stephen Sanchez (way mostly among the current ones, I'm single πŸ˜‰ btwβ€”what I mean is that song is a sentimental love song for rejoicing love couples, and I felt attached even I don't have a girlfriend.)
  2. "Here With Me" by d4vd (becoming less frequently)
  3. "Spark" by Ed Sheeran (becoming less frequently)
  4. "Foolish One" by Taylor Swift
  5. "Vampire" by Olive Rodrigo (I'm not sure as I'm getting hooked right now)
  6. "Say So" by Doja Cat (becoming less frequently)
  7. ... That's it I can fondly recall. I have tried to think from 2020 farther. But that's it I bravely mentioned.

That's many. I will listen and delve in one by one every time I'm free to chill and listen. I might give you my feedback long soon (at most 2-3 months depending on my hooking and appreciative analysis) after if I get what I like.

Despite I have a younger brother who put his playlist on stereo so letting me hear his music probably sung by new/current artists, only "Charlie XCX" is the artist among them right now whom I know and listen.

Still, thanks so much for this response, at least I have an idea about who are the new/current artists at present πŸ˜„.

I enjoyed "Levitating" and "We're Good" that nearly match my hooking/repetition by "New Rules" and "IDGAF" (when I was at 2016) which is way considerably ~~ouch old~~ a past in my music listening (actually not playing in my current playlists always, just only for nostalgia). "Levitating" and "We're Good" are also becoming less to my listening history.

I'm not quite sure what aspect of her music you're trying to find more of, and it sounds like it might be multiple things.

If you're looking for, specifically, modern popular country music sung by a woman about romance/womens issues, I'd recommend the album Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus, or Rainbow by Kesha (which sounds weird if you haven't listened to her since Tik Tok, but her sound has really changed).

As far as artists endorsed by her, it looks like you're already listening to Olivia Rodrigo, but definitely check out Sour if you haven't heard it yet. I'd also recommend Lana Del Rey and Phoebe Bridgers, who have both been featured on Taylor Swift songs, and are both great story tellers (although they're typically more somber than Taylor Swift, more like Folklore).

As for some more personal picks from me that are maybe a bit more out of the box: I really like Car Seat Headrest. They're an indie band that has a bit more of a DIY sound, but their music is incredibly emotional and the storytelling is compelling. This song is my favorite from them, but most of their stuff is more about romance than this. I also really like the bands Modern Baseball and The Front Bottoms. Both are a bit more emo but they capture a lot of the heartbreak and teen angst that was present on early Taylor Swift stuff.

I hope some of that helps. Oh and also you can't go wrong with Ed Sheeran. I still think his first album (+) is his best work.

I like most of his songs of every album of his, that I could make a mini playlist sung all by him (But I still have plenty of unpolished playlists that I'm still editing only in my chill times).

I miss (did not attempt) to listen Plastic Hearts by Miley Cyrus on its release week (so I will consider this), yet I've listened "Endless Summer Vacation" but only "Flowers" is the song I put one of my current (2020s) playlists I mostly play.

I've never heard of Rainbow by Kesha (I now check that it was released in 2017).

I'm having a marathon of Olivia Rodrigo right now because of her song "Vampire". I haven't yet fully discovered Lana Del Rey but have heard little very few songs (I don't know it was sung) by her on my younger brother's playlists.

I have no idea who's Phoebe Bridgers. I didn't notice Taylor Swift have at least introduced her audience Phoebe.

I might make a feedback here about "Drugs With Friends" by Car Seat Headrest, "The Old Gospel Choir" by Modern Baseball and "Twin Size Mattress" by The Front Bottoms you shared me, if I ever like with an insight of how/why. I also listen to those kind of music. I'm very fine listening to anything as I like a diversity of music, but I'm very selective of liking those kind as very few of them really captures my attention despite gloomy or lowkey or plain or somewhat-indie compositions (It doesn't mean I don't like indie band sounds, but I have heard awesome songs having somewhat plain composition/singing/playing in an impressive way). As long as good (tickling) to my ear, as long as the musicality seesaws my listening/emotions, that's where I ever like a song.

Still, thanks so much for this response at least πŸ˜„.

I don't know if this is helpful at all in the slightest, but have you considered looking at covers of Taylor Swift's music? or the other artists you mentioned? for me, hearing covers and the different ways that people interpret it has been nice, and still allowed me to enjoy the originals when I come back to them.

I've heard covers of Taylor's. But I'm just looking for music artists/actually new music with that such like hers, just for my current playlists at least. Anyway, nice consideration.
