Nah, it's nothing like that. It's a much more general point, bigger picture / historical perspective kind of thing that I feel many (most?) people are being blind to.
Though unpopular political opinions won't bring you far on Lemmy.

Well, how is a community supposed to get activity when people look at the activity and decide against posting there? Be the change you want to see in the world!
