Summary

Elon Musk is considering suing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after Walz accused him of performing a Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration.

Musk’s gesture, where he placed his hand on his heart before extending his arm outward, sparked controversy due to its resemblance to historical fascist salutes.

The Anti-Defamation League deemed it an “awkward gesture” rather than a Nazi salute but acknowledged public concern.

Musk, who owns X (formerly Twitter), responded to calls for legal action by saying, “I think I will.”

Accusation? Bro, there's a video of you doing it.

considering suing

“I think I will.”

Dude absolutely will not. 0% chance he wants a legal judgement based off what people think of an obvious Nazi salute.

Just a rich baby piss boy talking and nothing more.

New right wing plan is just to sue people they don't like. Bad idea

This is in no way a new plan. The right wing has been weaponizing the legal system for decades.

SLAPP, SLAPP, SLAPP

Maybe not a new plan but used all the time now. Always been a strategy for the rich to just overwhelm using their cash

Depends how much money / intimidation he can throw at the judges & juries.

[–] AllNewTypeFace@leminal.space 6 points 11 hours ago

Or he’ll get the Department of Justice to prosecute him on his behalf.

I just rolled my eyes so hard it sounded like ungreased ball bearings. Leon is taking a page out of trump's playbook, just sue anyone who stands up to you and hope you can intimidate them into going away.

Sure, let's get what everybody already knows on record in the legal system that it is definitely a Nazi salute.

I am just glad that Tim Walz is still calling people out. Best part of the Harris -Walz campaign

I have to imagine he’s gearing up for his own 2028 presidential election campaign. It’s still self serving at the end of the day.

I, too, am hopeful there will be a 2028 election.

He should. I am all for it

Defense exhibit A: Elong giving a Nazi salute.

Defense rests.

[–] HubertManne@moist.catsweat.com 6 points 10 hours ago (1 children)

It would end debate if a court of law ruled he gave a nazi salute. I would love to see it.

Lol yeah sure in a world where 34 felony counts are meaningless if you already like the culprit

[–] NineMileTower@lemmy.world 12 points 11 hours ago

Do it, pussy.

I might make a backflip.
