Florida's best and brightest they sent to DC to represent themselves, Anna Paulina Luna, the same certified genius who tried to expunge the Trump impeachments for extorting a foreign leader to influence US elections by withholding Congress approved resources, and inciting a failed insurrection and disenfranchising American citizens from their votes in federal elections.
Sounds like a great idea.

I think it is a fantastic idea because they will hire a shit contractor who is completely incapable and they will either do a laughably bad job or they will just take the money and run, whatever happens is gonna be hilarious...
Nah, this is Trump we’re talking about… They’ll do a mediocre job, and then Trump will refuse to pay them. Because for some reason, these idiots always believe they’ll be the exception and never demand payment up front.

Well clearly no.
It would be vandalized very quickly, which could be a nice outlet for a lot of people.
With time it would probably turn orange from all the piss too.
As much as I like the thought, I've been to Mt. Rushmore and I don't think vandalizing it would be easily achieved. Maybe with a drone or paintball gun - the first time - after that I think they'd be prepared. There is national parks apparatus surrounding it IIRC.
You think they’re gonna not defund the National parks service? They’re basically the “don’t ruin nature” police, and the people in charge now don’t fucking care about nature.
Plus it's in South Dakota. Security by obscurity.
Also Security by bigotry, which I am not sure works that well since you always end up just hiring the badguys and empowering them instead of protecting people from them.

They're taking the piss at this point.
Mount Rushmore was intentionally done to insult Lakota/Dakota people anyway. The “Six Grandfathers” were sacred, and Mount Rushmore was intentional defacement and sacrilege.
It has that look of tacky art that you can tell always was made for a hollow purpose
...silly shit like this is a distraction - shit like the email that just went out to every federal employee encouraging them to resign is where the potential for damage is. Today.
He would only sign it if they carved away all the other faces to have only his on the whole mountain. He doesn't share.
I mean this won't happen, but I kinda threw up in my mouth a little bit.
The one thing keeping me sane is the realization that that old crusty piece of shit will be dead soon, and I'll never have to see their rapist face again.
